So I found out something pretty cool. J Dilla and Nujabes were born on the same exact day, February 7, 1974. Seriously, the planets must have been aligned perfectly that day or something.

To be honest, I didn't realize that the votes would be based on who sounded like J Dilla the most. I guess I thought it would be more about hearing a J Dilla influence in the beat but it still being your style. Like a "Thank you" type song. So, if it's about what beats sounds more like J Dilla, definitely Kazi.

First off, I heard some great work from all the participants. But I gotta give it to Kami because I've been a fan of his work for a while now, and that beat was just bumpin. It was a little bit of a shame that more producers on the site couldn't participate, but it was still interesting to hear some good music! Thanks to everybody who entered and to E-thirteen for hosting.
