Actually, If you wouldn't mind spreading the word about this, I would be extremely grateful!! I love the NGHH community so I'm really excited to see what people do with the idea xD. can you explain rule 2? Sampled what?? I don't undestand what this is about

xD, For sure, rule 3 "The track must be sampled (some synth accompaniment is acceptable, however it should not be the main element)"
Sampled beats essentially use loops or samples from pre-existing music, which are then chopped and reassembled in a unique way. Dilla was one of the best at it. If you listen to his music you'll hear what I mean. Type "J. Dilla - Sun In My Face" into google and you will hear what I am talking about. Also the beat that I made for the promo is an example.
Although, I'm not sure if this rule will stick around. I'll have to get a feel for what people really want to do.
You know what man, I've never really tried my hand at sampling, maybe it's time I give it a shot. I'll try to make something for this!

Same, at first I was going to make a tribute song all by myself, but then I realized Dilla deserved more xD, so I made my track into a promo for this contest. The music gods should be pleased xD
